The City of Toronto Energy Conservation and Demand Management plan projects millions of dollars in energy savings. Using performance-based conservation, energy conservation opportunities are identified for each of the 543 buildings based on individual savings potential profiles. The plan, prepared by Enerlife in accordance with Ontario’s Green Energy Act Regulation 397/11, projects an investment in capital and operational improvements over a seven-year period which will be fully repaid with energy savings and utility company incentives within 10 years.
