The program’s annual forum will be held on May 30, 2018 at Montecassino Woodbridge. With growing pressure to deliver cost savings, energy efficiency and emissions reductions, combined with increased GHG and infrastructure funding, how are hospitals deciding on the best projects to implement? Participants will hear from top-performing hospitals about their strategies and practices which are producing, and earning recognition for, exceptional results. The forum will provide the latest Greening Health Care forecast of the energy and water conservation potential of Ontario’s hospitals, where the savings are to be found, and how the Ontario government’s Hospital Energy Efficiency Program (HEEP) funding is affecting the kinds of projects being undertaken.
The forum will be followed by a site tour of Markham-Stouffville Hospital (Greening Health Care member) and Markham District Energy on May 31, 2018.
