Where the Green Jobs Are: Harnessing the Energy Conservation Potential in Buildings

Harnessing this potential will put money in the pockets of homeowners and add to businesses’ bottom lines, while creating tens of thousands of new “green” jobs across the economy.

Canada Green Building Council Launches Green Up

In 2009 the Canada Green Building Council launched GREEN UP Canada’s Building Performance Program for commercial office buildings, K-12 schools and for government and utility company administration buildings to help building owners and managers set goals and work towards high standards of energy and water efficiency, carbon footprint and green building certification.
